J'ai \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9 par un p\u00e8re travailleur. J'ai grandi en voyant mon p\u00e8re faire les corv\u00e9es, la cuisine, occuper deux emplois et s'occuper de tout ce qui concernait nous, les enfants. Ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9 \u00e0 ce mod\u00e8le merveilleux, beaucoup de st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes de genre et de pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s sur la division sexu\u00e9e du travail constituaient un angle mort pour moi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Il \u00e9tait naturel dans mon foyer que mon p\u00e8re, mon fr\u00e8re et moi partagions les t\u00e2ches m\u00e9nag\u00e8res, et il n'y avait pas de travail invisible : nous \u00e9tions tous conscients de ce qui devait \u00eatre fait et, m\u00eame si nous avions des t\u00e2ches attribu\u00e9es \u00e0 chacun, nous nous occupions tous des choses de mani\u00e8re proactive.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ce qui me d\u00e9concerte le plus dans mon coaching Fair Play, c'est que le travail domestique soit encore largement invisible dans la majorit\u00e9 des foyers plus traditionnels.<\/strong> Il me para\u00eet ahurissant que les gens ne voient m\u00eame pas tout ce qu'il faut pour faire tourner un foyer \u2013 c'est une sacr\u00e9e lacune que beaucoup de gens trimballent avec eux !\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLorsque le moment est venu pour mon partenaire et moi de fonder notre propre famille, nous avons beaucoup parl\u00e9 de nos origines, de nos exp\u00e9riences de la vie domestique et des mod\u00e8les selon lesquels nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9s. Nous avons fait le travail conscient et intentionnel de communiquer, d'\u00e9tablir des normes, de discuter des responsabilit\u00e9s et de r\u00e9partir les t\u00e2ches. Pour nous, c'est l'expression de notre respect, de notre amour et de notre attention l'un envers l'autre et envers notre relation. <\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Nous avons eu 3 enfants en l'espace de 3 ans. Oui, cela signifie bien que le troisi\u00e8me est n\u00e9 avant que le premier n'ait 3 ans. Nous avons tous les deux dormi des nuits de 6 heures pendant tout ce temps. Nous avons partag\u00e9, organis\u00e9, planifi\u00e9 et nous sommes adapt\u00e9s, et nous avons tous profit\u00e9 d'une belle et enrichissante exp\u00e9rience de parentalit\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tQuand j'ai d\u00e9couvert la m\u00e9thode Fair Play, cela m'a paru tellement \u00e9vident ! C'\u00e9tait tellement similaire \u00e0 ce que nous avions fait spontan\u00e9ment ! J'adore le fait qu'elle apporte une structure ludique, avec les cartes, et qu'elle repose sur des principes organisationnels que la plupart d'entre nous utilisent d\u00e9j\u00e0 quotidiennement dans leur travail. J'adore le fait qu'elle propose un langage commun qui n'est pas agressif et qui d\u00e9samorce les attitudes d\u00e9fensives, en mettant l'accent sur ce qui est vraiment important : nos valeurs, nos talents et la joie de partager un projet de vie.
