Voici l'image qui a tout d\u00e9clench\u00e9 pour moi.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Je l'ai vu pour la premi\u00e8re fois il y a environ 5 ou 6 ans lors d'un \u00e9v\u00e9nement de la Journ\u00e9e internationale des femmes. Je me rappelle encore que cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0, la discussion tournait autour de la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 (ou non) de mesures publiques, comme des quotas, pour \u201c forcer \u201d plus d'\u00e9quit\u00e9 entre les genres sur le lieu de travail. Curieusement, cette ann\u00e9e, le m\u00eame sujet est encore and encore revenu lors de la m\u00eame conf\u00e9rence, au m\u00eame endroit.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Mais en regardant cette photo, j'ai eu une illumination... ce n'est pas sur le lieu de travail que nous avons besoin de plus d'\u00e9quit\u00e9 entre les sexes ! C'est \u00e0 la maison ! La femme sur la photo ne reste pas en retrait sur l'\u00e9chelle de l'entreprise en raison d'une discrimination au travail, ou du manque de politiques publiques, ou du besoin de quotas.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Elle reste en arri\u00e8re parce qu'elle assume seule la charge de travail \u00e0 la maison. La femme sur la photo fait deux emplois \u00e0 temps plein, tandis que l'homme sur la photo semble n'en faire qu'un seul. Et tant qu'il en sera ainsi... il semble tout \u00e0 fait naturel que l'\u00e9chelle du succ\u00e8s soit plus facile \u00e0 gravir pour la personne qui n'a qu'un seul emploi \u00e0 temps plein.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Je crois que les deux sexes m\u00e9ritent une chance \u00e9gale d'avoir une carri\u00e8re ambitieuse, \u00e9panouissante et enrichissante. Et je crois avec encore plus de conviction que les deux sexes m\u00e9ritent une chance \u00e9gale de vivre une exp\u00e9rience parentale agr\u00e9able, intentionnelle et enrichissante.<\/strong><\/p>

Nous avons tous, en tant qu'individus, entreprises et soci\u00e9t\u00e9, tout \u00e0 gagner \u00e0 ce que chacun, ind\u00e9pendamment de son genre, m\u00e8ne une vie \u00e9panouie, o\u00f9 nous pouvons jouer tous les r\u00f4les qui s'offrent \u00e0 nous et o\u00f9 nous pouvons nous lib\u00e9rer des croyances limitantes sur les r\u00f4les qui \u201c appartiennent \u201d \u00e0 chaque genre.<\/p>
